PSA Door lock question

Does anyone know if modern PSA vans have factory fit lock protection plates.

I purchased a pair of new doors for my van which would have come from a 2016/17 Boxer direct from the factory from a guy who converts panel vans into box van so rear doors are surplus, as such I can't see him ordering optional extras for the rear doors...

Anyway the door lock on the rear door has a nice shiny pressed steel reinforcing plate on the back of the door handle, fixed by 3 of the four bolts that hold the handle in place. I can't find these plates on the parts drawings I have access to. As far as I can see the plate covers the bottom and left side looking from the rear of the handle.

Is it visible from the outside, or do you have to look inside the door?

Can't see from the outside.

But I've looked at several parts diagrams for Boxer rear doors and it's not present. On the other hand I don't think its a third party fit..

I wondered if PSA have quietly tried to fix the easy break-in issue...
