Long story short...
On the Swift the main habitation light switch is by the rear habitation door....
Nuisance in the dark IF we get in/out of the front cab doors....
No easy route to put another switch in the cab SO bought one of these...

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Transmitte...ote+switch&dpPl=1&dpID=517A9OgvofL&ref=plSrch

2 remote fobs (4 buttons) and 4 separate remote switches (one for each button on the fob)
Bit of wiring behind the main switch and I can switch theain lights on/off from the cab or outside etc.

Ill be using one of the other channels for some led lights on the sides of the van for when parking in awkward places in the dark etc.

Cheap as chips from the bay
I looked at those too BUT went for the one I bought as the remote switches are all separate so easier (for me) to mount locally to where I needed them, rather than running everything back to one location with the ones with all 4 relays mounted together.

Both a handy idea though.

All my switches for powering things are on the dash so i fitted behind there keeping it simple. lece 4.jpg
